As we are a small nursery with a maximum of 32 children at any one time, we can offer an environment that is friendly, relaxed and rich in learning experiences. Children mix well with all age groups at the Nursery and get to know all staff, so transitions to the following areas are smooth.
Your child qualifies for a funded place within our Preschool area the term after their 3rd Birthday. These dates will vary following the school term dates. Generally, ante-preschool intakes will be in August, October, January and April. All qualifying children are eligible for 22 hours and 50 minutes of funded education a week (50 weeks a year) or 30 hours a week (38 weeks a year). Additional hours will be charged separately to the primary carer. There are also funded places for 2-year-olds (conditions apply). We ask for 1 month's fee in advance to confirm a place. Any drop in initial sessions booked will still be required to be paid for in that first month.

Ante/Pre-School Funded Sessions are Mon-Fri 9.30am –3.30pm or 9.30am -1.30pm or 8.30am-2.30pm
Session Fees and Times (All Prices are subjected to change with notice)
The Nursery closes for the May Day public holiday and 2 wks at Christmas during the school holidays.
Full Time non funded places receive free lunch as a thank you.
Payment/Absences
The primary carer must pay fees in advance. If your child is ill or on holiday (outwith the contract two weeks per year and Festive break), you still have to pay for the sessions they would be attending. We ask for one month's notice of any holidays to be taken. Customers can have two weeks of fee-free holidays per year (pro-rata) and the Festive Break and May Day holiday when the Nursery closes.
For your child to keep their place at Nursery, you must ensure that fees are paid one month in advance.
It is nursery policy to pursue any outstanding debts using BFL Debt Solutions. Prompt payment is paramount to the smooth running of the Nursery.

How do I register for a place at Bright Beginnings Nursery?If you would like to book a place at our nursery please email brightbeginningsltd@gmail.comwith your request, and we will be happy to send you a brochure and registration forms to your email inbox to complete to secure your place.

What if I book and then no longer require childcare?We understand that life can be unpredictable and that people’s circumstances may change. Here at Bright Beginnings Nursery, we will only request a registration fee and a deposit from you once you are certain you would like to book with us. Once we have agreed upon a session plan and start date, a non-refundable registration fee and deposit will signify the start of your child’s enrolment. Once this registration fee and deposit have been paid, we ask that you give us as much notice as possible should you wish to withdraw your child(ren) from our setting. One month’s written notice is required to be provided directly to the nursery manager, or you can email brightbeginningsltd@gmail.com. How soon should I enquire about a nursery place?We would advise you to get in touch as soon as possible. Our nursery does not operate on a waiting list due to the disappointment this may cause; therefore, we advise you to visit and discuss your requirements as soon as you can. We will always do our utmost to help secure your place. The best thing to do is get in touch with our friendly team, who will be more than happy to help.

I am quite anxious about the prospect of putting my child into nursery. Do you have any advice for me?It is completely natural to feel anxious, whether it is your first baby or your fourth – the worry doesn’t go away! We completely understand and are here to support you. Many of our team are parents themselves and have first-hand experience of how scary the thought of leaving your child in a nursery can be. To help alleviate some of the worry, we offer free settling-in time to support you and your little one's needs. We can also put you in touch with other parents who have already been through the process to give you first-hand, honest advice and support. Our team are here on hand to discuss any worries or concerns and will work with you and your little one for as long as you both need to feel comfortable, settled and secure.
